The Mauser 1934 was the last step of
evolution of the Mauser West pocket pistol 1910. At the beginning of
World War II it was outdated. The Wehrmacht ordered only a small amount
of 8,000 pieces. It was often used at the Kriegsmarine and
police-forces.
